CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Service work and site maintenance for national accounts.
• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Use various hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
• Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness; maintain records of service, scheduling, and repairs.
• Maintain equipment by inspecting for wear and notifying customers or managers of findings.
• Document work through paperwork, including daily time, progress, and duration, and maintain files.
• Serve as a direct customer contact, representing the company professionally.
• Determine parts needed for repairs and their timeliness.
• Record parts, materials, labor, subcontractors, and other costs; return unused resources.
• Complete all required paperwork and reports promptly.
• Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
• Read and interpret product specifications.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Work overtime/weekends as necessary; travel regularly with some overnight stays.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
