Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an HVAC/R Service Technician to perform service and maintenance on commercial HVAC/R equipment across a range of settings. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair split systems, packaged rooftops, and chillers while performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics.

You will document all service activities on a handheld device, work independently to meet deadlines, and travel within a designated territory.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years commercial HVAC-R Service experience.
• Availability for rotating on call.
• EPA and OSHA Certifications.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in data analysis, using data to drive decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven and adaptable to change.
• Passionate about continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and innovations.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned HVAC/R service tasks safely in commercial and residential settings.
• Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot various types of split systems, packaged rooftop, and chillers.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device.
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame.
• Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory.
