Job summary

DCH Honda of Oxnard is seeking an Experienced Honda Technician to join our busy service department in Ventura County. You will diagnose, repair, and road-test vehicles, document repairs, and maintain safety and quality standards with support from Lithia & Driveway.

We offer competitive pay from $35 to $55 per flat rate hour and a $3,000 signing bonus. A Honda OEM background plus ASE/manufacturer certifications are preferred, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Honda OEM experience, 2+ years.
• Must be manufacturer certified in listed areas.
• Smog license or emissions certification as applicable.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Complete all required training and acquire ASE/manufacturer certifications as required.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
• Review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
