Job summary

Lithia & Driveway, on behalf of L0715 DCH Honda of Oxnard, is seeking an Experienced Honda Technician to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will perform repairs to Honda and Lithia standards, diagnose malfunctions, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.

Qualifications

• Honda Technician experience required (5+ years preferred).

DCH Honda of Oxnard Hiring: Experienced Honda Technician Pay: $35-$55 Per Flat Rate Hour Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
• Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.

• Engine Drivability Diagnosis and Repair (Optional)

Certification/Training:

Manufacturer certified in all areas listed above. Must either have appropriate smog license or state emissions certification (as applicable by state/city).

Customer Pay Proficiency Level: Greater than 115% Customer Pay Repairs Automotive Technical Knowledge - 5+ years Honda OEM experience, 2+ years Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

Total Rewards

This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on: Production Productivity.

The average pay range for this position is $35.00-$55.00 per flat rate hour. $3,000 signing bonus to be paid after 90 days of employment. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
