Job summary

Griswold Home Care in the Greater Boston area is seeking experienced caregivers to provide private-duty care for seniors and adults in clients' homes. Positions include short-hour, part-time hourly, longer shifts, and live-in opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of verifiable paid caregiving experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of required background screening.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Travel to client assignments throughout the Greater Boston area.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, reliable care based on each client's individualized care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Transport or accompany clients to appointments, errands and activities as needed.
• Communicate with clients, families, and Griswold team about care needs and changes in condition.
