Job summary

Cascade Environmental, LLC, a national full-service environmental services company, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for our Medford, NJ office. You will operate a broad range of equipment and perform safety inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs as needed.

We value hard-working, safety-conscious professionals who can travel up to 80% and contribute to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
CDL license strongly preferred.
10+ years of hands-on heavy equipment experience.
Valid OSHA-40 training required.
Keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
Must be physically able to lift 50+ pounds.
Ability to provide professional work references.
This position requires 80% travel.

Responsibilities

Operate backhoes, excavators, dozers, skid steers, bob cats, rollers, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment following safety rules.
Ensure proper care of equipment during use.
Conduct daily safety inspections and regular fleet checks.
Document regular maintenance checks and maintain records.
Promote workplace safety and environmental practices.
Provide preventative maintenance as needed to ensure equipment safety and operation.
Conduct minor repairs and report major issues to management.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
