Summary:

Scotty's Contracting and Stone is seeking a highly experienced Heavy Equipment Operator. Responsibilities include operating large construction equipment safely and efficiently, performing minor maintenance, and supporting the team with various labor tasks as directed by the Foreman.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety regulations to minimize risks.
• Take direction from crew leaders.
• Perform minor maintenance or report major issues.
• Report hazards promptly.
• Maintain positive relationships and teamwork.
• Complete required documentation.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Perform physical tasks to maintain the site.

Qualifications:

• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle report.
• Strong safety focus.
• Ability to work collaboratively.

Physical Requirements:

• Climbing, working at heights, balancing, vision, hearing, lifting, and working in outdoor conditions.

Work Environment:

Primarily outdoors with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery. Must be prepared for environmental changes and physical demands.
