Join to apply for the Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator role at WM.

Job Details:

• Schedule: M-F 6:00am-4:00pm, occasional Saturdays 6:00am-12:00pm
• Pay: $20.00/hour

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating Dozers, Excavators, Articulated Dump Trucks, and Front-End Loaders.
• 1+ years’ experience with Dozer D6 and D8 (Manual, no GPS).
• Additional heavy equipment experience such as forklift, cherry picker, or skid steer operation is a plus, but must be referenced above to be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate heavy equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
2. Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; keep accurate records.
3. Move and position raw materials and finished components using material moving equipment.
4. Follow standard operating procedures for vehicle operation and maintenance.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: None required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None required.

Work Environment:

• Use of motor coordination and finger dexterity most of the workday.
• Occasional physical effort handling objects under 30 pounds.
• Exposure to physical risks rarely; dirt, noise, weather elements most of the day.
• Typical setting: shop or field.
