Job summary

CATA Management Ltd. is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks. This full-time, year-round role is based in Pemberton, BC, with a typical Monday–Friday 7am–5pm schedule and overtime pay.

Starting wage ranges from $40.00 to $75.00 per hour, plus extended health care and dental benefits. Ideal candidates hold Red Seal Certification or equivalent experience, with proven heavy machinery expertise and strong

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working with heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license (Class 1 or 3 is a bonus).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
• Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance.
