Honey Homes is hiring the best handymen in Austin to service a dedicated territory of 40-50 homes with steady, daytime hours. You’ll perform multi-trade repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and more, while delivering outstanding customer service.
The role offers strong pay ($31-$36/hr, about $67k-$75k per year) plus equity, comprehensive benefits, mileage reimbursement, and growth opportunities as the company expands.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of handyman or multi-trade experience.
- Experience across multiple trades and working with carpenters, drywallers, painters, plumbers, and electricians.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability; can assess and fix most home issues independently.
- Attention to detail and a customer-friendly attitude.
- Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license and tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential home repair and maintenance tasks across multiple trades.
- Carpentry work including doors, trim, framing, and repairs.
- Painting and drywall patching.
- Plumbing tasks including toilets, faucets, and minor repairs.
- Electrical tasks including fixtures, outlets, and small wiring.
- Smart home device installation.
- Manage ~40-50 homes within a dedicated territory and provide excellent customer service.
- Use the app to track jobs, tasks, and schedules.
