Job description

Seeking high performing, motivated people for our Experienced Laborer - Mill Clean Up - Equipment Operator openings. Full-time night positions available.

Position Details

• Shift: 12-hour shift from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am
• Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
• Type: Full-time, with overtime

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Dependable transportation to work
• Must not be on probation
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required
• Dependable and hardworking

Responsibilities

• Cleaning up wet and dry sawdust, saw chips, broken boards, wood bark, etc., using shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows, and hands
• Periodically lift/move heavy objects such as log pieces and boards to shoulder height
• Assist in running some equipment when needed
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment
• Operate chainsaws and small hand tools
• Maintain yard cleanliness and debris removal
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings
• Other tasks as assigned

Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements

• Familiarity with all types of heavy equipment
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and documentations
• Operate excavators, dozers, off-road trucks, forklifts, and cranes
• Load and unload trucks
• Cross-train on all heavy equipment
