Job summary

HotFoot Recruiters is hiring an Experienced Garment Cutter to support a busy apparel manufacturing operation in Phoenix, AZ. This on-site role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with possible overtime based on workload.

Start ASAP with a pay range of $17.00-$20.00 per hour DOE. The role is hands-on and requires garment/textile experience, the ability to operate rotary or straight-knife cutters, and the strength to lift fabric rolls up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

Prior garment cutting, textile, apparel, or fabric-cutting experience preferred.
Experience using rotary cutters or straight-knife cutters.
Ability to lift up to approximately 60 lbs.
Comfortable standing and working on your feet throughout the shift.
Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical ability and willingness to train may also be considered.

Responsibilities

Cut garment and fabric materials by hand according to production requirements.
Operate electric rotary cutters and straight-knife cutters.
Measure, align, and prepare fabric for accurate cutting.
Lift, move, and stage fabric rolls weighing up to approximately 60 lbs.
Follow cutting instructions, measurements, layouts, and production specifications.
Maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity throughout the cutting process.
Keep the cutting area organized and safe.
Support other production activities as needed.
