Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Framer/Carpenter to join our modular home production team. In this role, you will operate industrial saws to cut lumber, panels, and engineered wood according to exact blueprints. Your work forms the foundation for our assembly teams, requiring high precision, speed, and a strong commitment to workshop safety.

Location: Wingdale, NY Job Type: Full-time Shift: Mon-Fri Compensation: $20 to $30 an hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Equipment: Safely run industrial saws, including radial arm saws, miter saws, and component saws.
• Read Cut Lists: Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and cut lists for daily production needs.
• Quality Control: Inspect lumber for defects and verify dimensions against technical drawings.
• Maintenance: Perform daily machine cleanings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in woodworking, carpentry, framing, roofing or a manufacturing plant environment.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for 8–10 hours and repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to PPE requirements (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe boots).
