POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and light commercial wood-framed construction. They will be responsible for constructing and assembling wood frame assemblies according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and proficiency in using power tools.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Construct wood-framed assemblies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Contribute to the analysis of processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to work in cross-functional roles to support efficient production practices.
  • Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift heavy (50+lbs) equipment and tools as necessary.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, ladders, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to reach overhead and bend/twist at the waist.
