Job summary

State Fire in Elko, NV is seeking an experienced fire sprinkler fitter for full-time, on-site work. You will install systems, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with fire codes and OSHA standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of installation experience, knowledge of fire/building codes, OSHA familiarity, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. Travel may be required; on-call hours possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience.
• Knowledge of fire and building codes; OSHA compliance.
• Proficient in basic computer and software use.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or be on-call.
• Ability to pass a national background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler systems including wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform work in compliance with applicable fire codes, building codes, and OSHA standards
• Use trade-specific tools and equipment to safely complete installations
• Regional travel may be required; overnight stays possible
• Work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexibility as required
