Job summary

FIRE EQUIPMENT SYSTEMS FLORIDA INC. is seeking an experienced commercial fire alarm technician to join our team in Fort Pierce, FL.

The role focuses on inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes and local AHJ requirements. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while delivering excellent customer service; a valid driver’s license, clean record, and background/drug

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in installing, inspecting, testing and servicing commercial fire alarm systems.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, local fire codes, and AHJ requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of all types of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Complete accurate inspection reports and service documentation.
• Ensure systems comply with NFPA 72, local fire codes, and manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate professionally with customers, building management and fire marshals.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain company tools, vehicle and inventory.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Skilled in troubleshooting system faults, wiring issues, and device failures.
• Strong communication skills and professional customer service demeanor.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Fasa/Basa within the last 5 years.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
