Experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician

Description

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician responsible for performing service calls, including installation of DynaNet, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. The technician ensures systems are installed and serviced efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize performance, adhering to DynaFire's quality standards while maintaining a safe and professional work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and possesses strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Respond promptly to customer service issues and effectively handle customer interactions, demonstrating patience when required.
• Communicate needs clearly to all parties involved to ensure timely completion of DynaFire's scope of work.
• Operate, test, troubleshoot, and program fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
• Program fire alarm panels both manually and via computer, as commonly installed by DynaFire.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Train and instruct customers on proper equipment use.
• Operate testing equipment such as Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Tone Generator, and Battery Tester.

Job Type: Full-time

Requirements

The candidate must possess a two-year electronics degree or equivalent experience, with a working knowledge of computers, communications systems, and Microsoft Office. The role reports to the Service Manager, with work hours of 40 per week, including overtime and occasional out-of-town assignments.
