Job summary

North Branch Construction seeks an experienced carpenter to join our team and travel across New Hampshire. You will perform a variety of carpentry tasks, from framing and trim to door installations, with emphasis on quality workmanship and safety.

Full-time position with benefits and opportunities for career development. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of carpentry experience, reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel to multiple job sites across the state.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Select list of hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks to construct, repair, or modify buildings or facilities.
• Safely operate power and hand tools to complete jobs to specifications.
• Protect furnishings, equipment, and other property during tasks.
• Adhere to safety precautions and wear protective equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs and completes a variety of carpentry tasks with quality workmanship to construct, repair, or modify buildings or facilities; tasks may include interior/exterior trim, siding systems, framing, cabinetry, countertops, mill work, and installation window and doors installation, commercial doors frames and hardware, and light demo.
• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of power and hand tools to complete jobs accurately and to specifications.
• Protects furnishings, equipment, and other property during carpentry tasks.
• Follows standard safety precautions; adheres to operator’s instructions when using power tools; wears recommended protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protectors, and/or work gloves.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Select list of hand tools required.
• Strong work ethics and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Ability to travel up to an hour to jobsites.
• Must have 5-7 years of carpentry experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to travel to jobsites throughout the state of NH.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
