Platte River Medical Clinic is expanding its established Family Practice to a new location in Broomfield. We seek an experienced NP/PA who values owning a practice, building lasting patient relationships, and contributing to growth within the community.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's Program.
• DEA certificate.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a broad range of primary care needs.
• Manage acute, episodic, preventive, and ongoing health concerns.
• Obtain and document complete medical histories, examinations, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications and manage prescription refills.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare resources.
• Review test results and ensure appropriate patient follow-up.
• Provide patient education and promote preventive health and wellness.
• Maintain an active patient panel and manage your clinical inbox.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, leadership, and our neighboring Urgent Care team.
• Help identify opportunities to expand and strengthen Family Practice services in the Broomfield community.

Are you an experienced Family Practice provider who wants more than simply stepping into someone else's routine?

Platte River Medical Clinic is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to help us expand our established and thriving Family Practice clinic to a new location in Broomfield.

This is an exciting opportunity for a provider who loves primary care, values long-term patient relationships, and is energized by the opportunity to help grow and shape a practice.

We already operate a well-established Urgent Care clinic in the Broomfield community, creating a natural partnership between urgent care and primary care. You'll have the opportunity to help strengthen that connection, build a loyal patient panel, and expand access to comprehensive, ongoing care for patients and families in the community.

Your Schedule

• Four in-clinic days + one dedicated administrative day
• Monday: Patient Care
• Tuesday: Patient Care
• Wednesday: Administrative Day
• Thursday: Patient Care
• Friday: Patient Care

No weekends

No on-call responsibilities

Your dedicated administrative day provides protected time for inbox management, charting, follow-up, care coordination, and other responsibilities that are difficult to squeeze between patient visits.

What You'll Do

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll provide comprehensive Family Practice care while developing lasting relationships with your patients and helping grow the Broomfield practice.

Responsibilities include:

Who We're Looking For

Because this role will be instrumental in the continued growth of the practice, previous Family Practice/Primary Care experience is strongly preferred.

• Has experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Family Medicine or Primary Care
• Is confident practicing with an appropriate level of autonomy
• Enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients and families
• Provides compassionate, patient-centered care
• Is organized and comfortable managing a patient panel and clinical inbox
• Enjoys collaborating with other providers and clinical team members
• Is excited about helping grow a practice and becoming a trusted healthcare resource within the community
