Job summary

Vail Resorts in South Lake Tahoe is hiring for winter seasonal roles (Cooks, Drivers, Instructors & more) with competitive wages and perks. This warehouse-focused opportunity offers on-site work, training for forklift and equipment, and growth opportunities across our mountain operations.

Starting wage ranges from $21.00 to $25.20 per hour, with full-time hours available and housing options. Applicants must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to lift heavy loads in varied weather, including

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or related role.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must be fluent in English and able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and delivering products to storage locations at mountain base restaurant locations.
• Maintain safety standards with teammates and operate equipment after training.
• Deliver goods using a snowcat or other equipment to on-mountain locations during non-operating hours.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and rotate inventory, ensuring cleanliness per health codes.
• Support in warehouse upkeep and daily vehicle/equipment inspections.

The Warehouse is an integral part of Resort Operations responsible for receiving, distributing supplies, and removing waste for our lodge teams so that they can then deliver an exceptional guest experience. Job Responsibilities

• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standards
• Deliver goods using a snowcat and other large equipment to on-mountain restaurant locations during non-operating hours
• Remove trash, recycling and more using a snowcat and other large equipment to on-mountain restaurant locations during non-operating hours
• Operate forklift and other equipment – we’ll train you!
• Assistsdelivery drivers in loading and unloading delivery trucks.
• Assistsin receiving and rotating food and beverage inventory.
• Maintains cleanliness of warehouse areasin accordance withall health codes and company guidelines.
• Checks product quality regularly to ensure freshness.
• Safely operate company vehicles/equipment and ensure daily inspections are completed.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• 1+ years of experience
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds along with other high physical demands -required.
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours -required.
• Must be fluent in English -required.
• Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions -required.
• Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. - required.

• Must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions - required

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr - $25.20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
