Job summary

West Shore Home in Hartford, CT is seeking a Residential Remodeler to perform safe and efficient installations of windows and exterior doors, following SOPs and PPE protocols, with a start time of 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

You will load materials at the warehouse, travel to customers, greet and build rapport, replace windows and doors, clean up the job site, and handle paperwork and payments before returning to the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication

Responsibilities

Purpose of Position:

The Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.

Key Role Accountabilities:

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Remove existing window/door space, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Compensation:

• The approximate hourly for this position is $21-$24 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
