Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking an Excavator Operator to perform digging, grading, trenching, and earth moving on construction sites in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include operating heavy machinery, completing inspections, and maintaining equipment. Candidates should have 3–5 years of operator experience, OSHA 10 certification, and a valid driver license. Full-time positions with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of operator experience in heavy civil construction.
• OSHA 10 Certification required.
• Valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Safety policies and procedures; promote Safety as a core value.
• Operate equipment safely and proficiently.
• Complete equipment condition reports and daily task checklists.
• Perform daily machine cleaning and lubrication.
• Understand utility locations and maintain shift equipment inspections.
• Communicate fuel status and supply needs to supervisor.
• Demonstrate grade pulling, trench excavation and loading/unloading excavators.
