Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic in Fargo, ND to perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems with minimal supervision.

You’ll travel to customer sites as needed, train junior technicians, and ensure accurate work orders and timely delivery of equipment and parts. A strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Legal driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance; maintain a clean service vehicle.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain work orders and paperwork daily.
• Assist with equipment pickup and delivery and other duties as assigned.
