Overview

The Stern Area System (SAS) and TSMS team has seen significant growth over the past few years and has an opening for an experienced engineer.D440 is a unique engineering organization with a range of responsibilities. Specific projects will include supporting shipboard construction and integration, test procedure development and preparation, and supporting the fleet with troubleshooting once the systems are in use.In this construction support role, engineers will interface with engineers of various disciplines, Electric Boat management, Electric Boat Program Offices, Navy Laboratories, SUPSHIP, NAVSEA, Ships Force and ISEA.
