Job summary

ATLANTIC COAST EMBROIDERY INC in Southampton, NY, is seeking a motivated embroidery operator to run Tajima equipment for our on-site shop. This part-time position offers training and the potential to transition to full-time for the right candidate.

You will hoop, load designs, manage threads, and ensure production quality while supporting order fulfillment and workspace organization. Join a growing team with opportunities for advancement in a creative apparel business.

• Previous experience with commercial embroidery equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up embroidery machines, loading designs, and changing threads.
• Hooping clothing, hats, and various other soft goods to be embroidered.
• Operating embroidery machines and monitoring production quality.
• Preparing garments and materials for embroidery (hooping, stabilizing, positioning).
• Working with existing embroidery files and design layouts.
• Inventory management of threads, blanks, DTF supplies, and materials.
• Daily shop organization, cleaning, and workspace maintenance.
• Organizing supplies, finished orders, and work-in-progress projects.
• Quality control and finishing work (trimming, pressing, packaging).
• Assisting with order fulfillment and pickup/delivery coordination.
• Being trained and ready to jump into any position in case of need or absence.

Join our creative team! We're a growing apparel customization company known for our quality, creativity, and customer service. We're seeking a motivated, experienced individual to operate Tajima commercial embroidery machines in our embroidery and custom apparel business.
