EXPERIENCED ELECTRICIAN
Summary: The electrician assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the problem. Inspects electrical equipment and identifies hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in cramped spaces and constant kneeling and standing can be tiring. Employees are frequently exposed to electrical shocks, falls, burns and other minor injuries. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and communicate. The employee frequently is required to sit. Must be able to cope with environmental extremes, they deal with extreme hot or cold temperatures, sun, wind exposure, and a good amount of manual labor, extreme heights and depths are not uncommon. Working outdoors is common practice throughout the year. The employee is occasionally required to smell. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This is a fulltime position. Days and hours are Monday thru Friday, 7am to 4:30pm, 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work maybe be required as job duties demand.
High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year on the job electrical experience to enter Custom Agri Systems apprenticeship program.
