UPMC Hamot Heart Institute is seeking a full-time Echocardiographer to join our skilled cardiovascular team. This role is ideal for an experienced sonographer focused on patient care and utilizing advanced imaging to diagnose and treat heart disease.

We welcome candidates with echo experience and provide opportunities for growth within the career ladder based on education, experience, and manager discretion. A sign-on bonus may be available with a work commitment.

Formación

• Completion of formal training in an accredited ultrasound program.
• Echo experience strongly preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs or assists in imaging procedures with independent judgment and knowledge of cardiac pathology.
• Demonstrates ability to cover shifts, on-call responsibilities, and work at satellite facilities when applicable.
• Collaborates with cardiologists on protocol development and communicates findings clearly to clinicians.
• Supports training of new hires and students as a resource within the team.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and troubleshoots issues as needed.
