Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, or installing commercial/loading dock equipment.
• At least 2 years of welding, electrical troubleshooting, or field service experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Comfortable with outdoor work and elevated heights.

Responsibilities

• Receive and complete daily service work orders.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial door systems.
• Install commercial doors, loading dock equipment, and related products.
• Perform preventative maintenance and field service work.

Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking an experienced Loading Dock / Commercial & Industrial Door Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional with experience servicing, troubleshooting, and installing commercial or industrial doors and loading dock equipment. You'll work alongside experienced technicians while continuing to build your skills through hands-on and manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Receive and complete daily service work orders.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial door systems.
• Install commercial doors, loading dock equipment, and related products.
• Perform preventative maintenance and field service work.
• Provide professional customer service while working at client locations.
