Campbell Supply in Edison, NJ is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our team. This full-time, on-site role offers opportunities to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and major systems using OEM tools and laptops, with OEM training provided.

The position emphasizes advanced diagnostics, teamwork, and continuous improvement within a leading Freightliner dealership network. Shifts are Mon-Fri with potential overtime, and compensation ranges from $40,000 to $100,000

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a diesel technician fleet mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or equivalent.
  • Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair engine, aftertreatment, electrical, drivability, transmission, and chassis systems.
  • Experience using OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools.
  • Formal diesel training and OEM certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with co-workers and drivers; strong teamwork.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Participation in Continuous Improvement Initiatives and the DTNA Elite Support Program.
