Job summary

TA Travel Center/LV Petroleum in Port Wentworth, GA is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers at our busy travel center. You will provide accurate service and follow safety guidelines to get travelers back on the road quickly.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing repairs within capability, and communicating with customers. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be required; a valid driver's license is preferred.

TA Travel Center/LV Petroleum is seeking an experienced Experienced Diesel Technician at one of our busy travel center locations in Port Wentworth GA.. As a Diesel Technician, you will provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a professional and accommodating manner. Our Technicians ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customers are exceeded
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide
• Diagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, makes recommendations to customers
• Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs
• Follow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers

Requirements

Previous Experience In Repair Or Parts Shop Preferred

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, some holidays in interior and exterior conditions
• A valid driver's license
