Job summary

TA Travel Center/LV Petroleum seeks an Experienced Diesel Technician at our busy Port Wentworth, GA location. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers, delivering professional service to travelers and getting them back on the road safely.

Ideal candidates have repair/parts shop experience, strong communication skills, basic computer ability, and a valid driver's license. Night/weekend shifts may be required to support our operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• A valid driver's license.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customers are exceeded.
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
• Diagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, makes recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.

Job Overview:

TA Travel Center/LV Petroleum is seeking an experienced Experienced Diesel Technician at one of our busy travel center locations inPort Wentworth GA. As a Diesel Technician, you will provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a professional and accommodating manner. Our Technicians ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came.
