Qualifications

• 5 years of Service Technician experience preferred; Ford Certification is a plus.
• Qualification includes Diagnostic, Electrical, and Multi Media.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve.
• Must pass pre-employment testing, including background check, MVR, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components/systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs and timelines.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications, including warranty work.
• Maintain high level of customer service and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Other duties as assigned based on skill level and certification.

Qualifications

Full Job Description

• 5 years of Service Technician experience preferred, Ford Certification is a plus
• Qualifications, include Diagnostic, Electrical, and Multi Media
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing. Includes background check, MVR, and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Other duties ay be assigned according to skill level and certification
