Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment and preparing rooms for procedures. The role emphasizes patient safety, interaction with patients and staff, and maintaining technical skills.

The position requires ARDMS RDMS and RVT, BLS, and a radiography program graduate, with clinical experience. The department handles clerical duties and supports PI data collection and QC on equipment.

Qualifications

• Current ARDMS certification with RDMS and RVT required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
• Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience.
• Familiar with most ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures; operate ultrasound equipment.
• Prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies; ensure patient safety.
• Clerical duties: answering phones, scheduling, stocking, filing, and cleaning.
• Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and QC on equipment.
