Job summary

Dentists of Fort Myers is hiring a friendly Dental Assistant who will support the dentist in delivering exceptional patient care and accuracy in procedure setup and imaging. You will maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming operatory while ensuring compliance with ADA and OSHA standards.

You will perform radiographs and intra-oral pictures as needed, support patient comfort, and help create a positive, trustful patient experience within a modern practice setting in Fort Myers, FL.

Qualifications

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintaining a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, completing x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices).
