Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Mississippi is seeking a casino dealer to manage a specific table game with professionalism, in compliance with property policies and gaming regulations. You will exchange currency for gaming chips, pay or collect bets, notify supervisors when decisions are needed, and help maintain guest relations and game integrity.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved dealer course, 21+ years of age, and the ability to obtain and maintain state

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of an approved dealer course.
• Proven knowledge and experience on the assigned game.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming licenses as determined by the Mississippi Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accuracy and professional, proficient manner in dealing a specific table game according to property policies and procedures and in compliance with Gaming regulation.
• Exchanges currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
• Advises Floor Supervisor or Manager of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealer.
• Responsible for analyzing customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play. - Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Paying wins.
• Supports and maintain courtesy guidelines at all times.
• Promotes outstanding guest relations.
• Protects and controls of the game.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Proven knowledge and experience on the assigned game required. (Lengths of experience should be commensurate with the level of skill required for the specific game.)
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming licenses as determined by the Mississippi Gaming Commission for the position.
• Ability to read simple instructions. Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations. Good communication skills. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
• Ability to do assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
• Always maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude. Have complete knowledge of all events and promotional activities.
