Marco Crane & Rigging in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time Crane Operator to safely operate and disassemble hydraulic telescopic and lattice boom cranes, inspect the site, and follow load charts and weather conditions.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, NCCCO certification, OSHA knowledge, and good teamwork; forklift certification is a plus, and drug testing may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid Class A CDL license.
  • Valid DOT medical card.
  • Valid NCCCO certification or equivalent for operating a crane.
  • OSHA regulations knowledge.
  • Hand signals knowledge.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through.
  • Teamwork ability.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Willingness to take drug and alcohol test and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain the crane.
  • Inspect work site conditions before setting up the crane.
  • Perform lifts safely using load charts and weather conditions.
  • Perform Daily DOT inspections as required.
  • Inspect the crane daily for defects or malfunctions.
  • Ensure all crane permits and certifications are current.
  • Know standard hand signals for crane operations.
  • Perform daily maintenance and inspections per the operator’s manual.
  • Service main load block and auxiliary blocks.
  • Keep proper tools on hand for the crane(s).
  • Other duties as assigned.
