Job summary

Inspired Living is seeking an experienced Cook for our community in Ocoee, FL. The Cook will support all Food Service and Dining Room activities under the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality, ensuring quality meals and adherence to dietary programs.

The role emphasizes resident satisfaction, safety, teamwork, and ongoing training input. The position involves maintaining a clean kitchen and assisting with staff development as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in food service.
• Minimum of three years' experience in food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports restaurant and dining operations to ensure quality meals and service.
• Follows the Menu Program and nutritional requirements as directed.
• Responds to resident preferences to maintain high satisfaction.
• Maintains safe food handling and proper storage and temperatures.
• Ensures staff deliver good resident experiences during meals.
• Participates in hiring and training input for dietary staff.
• Maintains a clean kitchen and safe work environment.
• Works with the Director on safety and compliance.
