Pay Range

This range is provided by 1UP Entertainment + Social. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $18.00/hr

About the Role

We are looking for an Experienced Cook who is passionate about delivering LEGENDARY hospitality, creating great times, and lasting memories. You should be a master of your craft, operate with urgency, maintain a positive attitude, and work well within a team to make guests feel special in a fun atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficiency of the cooking station and line
• Follow recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation
• Prepare and assemble multiple orders quickly and enthusiastically
• Adhere to portion guidelines for cost control and guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, including equipment operation and sanitation
• Perform daily food prep and closing duties
• Stock and maintain kitchen inventory
• Contribute to high standards of the beverage program
• Communicate effectively with management about kitchen issues
• Represent the 1UP brand positively in the community
• Assist with additional duties as needed

Requirements

• Team player with prior kitchen experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to analyze costs and manage controllable items
• Ability to read and prepare orders from POS systems
• Work quickly and efficiently in a noisy, fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to stand, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in hot/cold conditions
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends
• Must be 18 or older and able to obtain necessary food service licenses
