Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a relevant consulting field (public accounting, corporate finance, valuation, M&A, or related).
• Proficiency in accounting and finance and common valuation/reporting tools.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage data with analytical tools (SAS, Power BI).
• Solid client management skills with a focus on delighting clients.
• Experience supervising junior talent and providing coaching.

This position seeks a results-focused, growth-oriented professional to manage client engagements serving finance, accounting, and compensation teams at Fortune 500 companies.

As a professional in our firm, you'll apply your aptitude for consulting, finance, technical accounting, and/or economic analysis with a passion for client service to deliver world-class reporting to publicly traded companies.

You'll interface with our clients' finance, treasury, controllership, FP&A, tax, HR, and legal teams. You'll gain deep experience in managing complex client relationships, maintaining and enhancing our focus on excellence and pristine client service, coaching and mentoring junior staff, and more. You'll also participate in next-level training programs and gain exposure to broader business topics in preparation for a wider leadership role within the firm.

The Role in a Nutshell

• Manage and oversee client relationships by supervising project teams, providing technical leadership on complex topics, and delivering white-glove client interaction and project management. Excel in explaining technical issues to clients in plain language and serving as a trusted advisor.
• Lead client delivery presentations and mentor associates and consultants as they learn to explain complex topics to senior audiences.
• Manage a client portfolio from day-to-day service through the overall relationship. Own the end-to-end client experience and help clients understand other ways we can support them.
• Serve as an internal subject matter expert, taking a hands-on approach to projects, assisting in internal reviews, and training/coaching junior staff.
• Contribute to and excel in driving strategic initiatives within practice or at the firm. These span marketing, risk management, recruiting, and general business planning.
• Research novel technical areas and clearly explain the analysis and results internally and externally.
• Support service innovation and deliverables upgrade initiatives from ideation to design, development, and client prototyping.
• Supervise associates, providing coaching and feedback aligned with our apprenticeship-based, promote-from-within culture.
• Contribute to a best-in-class thought leadership platform by writing and publishing material that showcases the firm's expertise and ability to explain complex topics in digestible prose.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience in a relevant consulting field, including public accounting, corporate finance, litigation support, economic or valuation consulting, tax, mergers and acquisitions, management/strategy consulting, or related.
• Proficiency in accounting and finance and the common technical tools through which valuations and/or financial reporting are approached today.
• Strong Excel skills and/or the ability to manage data via analytical tools (e.g., SAS, PowerBl, etc.).
• Solid client management skills and a passion for delighting clients through flexibility, adaptability, and customization.
• Some prior experience supervising junior talent and delivering coaching/feedback that helps them upskill.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business discipline that relates to the role.
• Ability to quickly grasp technical accounting, finance, and economics concepts and apply them to real-world fact patterns.
• Strong ability to manage multiple, complex workstreams, evolving priorities, and varied deadlines.
• Strong detail and accuracy orientation.
• Ability and willingness to think critically and solve "out-of-the-box" problems independently.
• Ability to excel in both the technical and business/client dimensions of consulting.
