Job summary

JL Anderson Heating and Cooling is seeking an Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support customers across Zionsville area and Central Indiana. The role offers year‑round employment, a path for advancement, and extensive manufacturer training.

You will troubleshoot and service a variety of commercial HVAC systems, perform PMs, and read schematics while building long‑term client relationships. Employment includes vehicle and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• NATE certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, controls, and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and equipment startups.
• Service rooftop units, boilers, VRF systems, VAV equipment, split systems, and HVAC controls.
• Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control problems.
• Read blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Complete detailed service reports.
• Maintain professional customer relationships.
• Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
