Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to create, test, and optimize programs for precision components, molds, and fixtures. Translate CAD models into efficient machine code and collaborate with machinists during initial setups to ensure tolerances and quality standards are met.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on CNC programming in a precision manufacturing environment, with proficiency in G-code/M-code and CAD/CAM software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on CNC programming in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in G-code/M-code, GD&T, CAD/CAM software, and precision measurement equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or CNC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines using CAD/CAM software; optimize speeds, feeds, and cycle times.
• Partner with machinists during setups and first runs; troubleshoot machining errors and adjust programs on the fly.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools and GD&T to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve machining workflows, reduce downtime, and maintain tooling documentation.
