Job summary

Linked, LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our growing machine shop in Kimball, MI. This contract-to-hire role requires stepping in immediately to develop and maintain CNC programs, support machine setups, and ensure quality and efficiency across operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC programming experience, proficient in 3- and 5-axis CNC operations, and is capable of troubleshooting programs quickly while maintaining high accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience.
• Experience programming and operating 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machines.
• VISI programming experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences for each job.
• Verify programs against engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Support first article inspections and troubleshoot production issues.
• Document program changes and maintain version control.
• Assist in evaluating new machinery, tooling, or software for improvements.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance including checking lubrication and coolant levels.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment and ensure parts and supplies are organized.
