Job summary

Blue United Sourcing LLC invites an experienced Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) to join a comprehensive outpatient cancer center in Valdosta, Georgia. This full-time, direct-hire role sits on a fully on-site radiation oncology team employing advanced planning and delivery systems.

The ideal candidate will hold CMD certification, a Bachelor's degree, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of IMRT planning experience.

Qualifications

• CMD certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current CPR certification.
• 2+ years IMRT treatment planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design individualized radiation treatment plans per Radiation Oncologist prescription.
• Generate dose distributions and calculations with Medical Physicist and Oncologist.
• Develop plans for 3D, IMRT, and SBRT modalities, considering structures and parameters.
• Provide physics and technical support for image fusion and treatment delivery.
• Assist with brachytherapy procedures.
• Serve as a resource for therapists during plan implementation and adjustments.
• Verify accuracy of treatment calculations and documentation in the EHR.
• Archive and restore treatment plans as needed.
• Support QA and safety activities with Medical Physics.
• Participate in chart rounds and continuous process improvement.
