Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move products for America's brands. You will inspect tractors, logs, and bills of lading, then drive to customer sites and unload deliveries.

This full-time role offers day shifts and pay from $75k to $90k annually, with day-one medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Requirements: 21+, valid CDL-A, 1 year or 50,000 miles of driving experience, and ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and maneuvering skills on road and customer premises.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.

What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
