McLane Company, Inc. is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move and deliver goods across our nationwide network. You’ll inspect, load, and drive tractors, maintaining logs and safety in compliance with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL‑A license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• This role requires reading, writing and understanding English at a level sufficient to perform job tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Verify bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during delivery.
• Drive tractor‑trailer to destination in compliance with driving regulations.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT rules.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do As a CDL‑A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off‑hour delivery.
• Drive tractor‑trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL‑A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL‑A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
