Material Handling Inc. in the Southeast is seeking CDL-A truck drivers to drop off and pick up equipment, operate semi-trucks and pallets, and support our growing logistics network.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required with DOT driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pickup equipment for customers.
• Operate semi-truck and trailer per CDL-A.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Adhere to safety requirements and regulations.
• Maintain logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment or supplies for customers.
• May work on equipment in shop; perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pickup equipment for customers
• Operate semi-truck and trailer consistent with DOT classification CDL-A
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet jacks
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Maintain driver\'s logs and complete pre-trip inspections
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
• May periodically work on material handling equipment in our shop
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of material handling equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and diligent attention to safety
