Job summary

The Learning Experience - Durham is seeking an Experienced Childcare Teacher to join our team. You will create a welcoming classroom and nurture growth through play, exploration, and the LEAP Curriculum for infants to preschoolers.

Candidates should have 1 year of teaching experience (preferred) or 6 months (required) and an associate degree in ECE or related field (preferred) or a high school diploma. We offer training, advancement opportunities, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in ECE or related field preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement the LEAP Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, or preschool children while aligning to each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s progress through apps and conversations.
• Partner with daycare staff to support enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build strong relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning environment.

Education
