Experience and Certification

Minimum of 5+ years of Service Technician experience preferred. Factory certification is a plus. A-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair, are preferred. Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools.
• Maintain and repair vehicle systems such as engine, transmission, electrical, and more.
• Communicate with Service Advisor regarding additional services needed.
• Provide repair estimates and execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and customer service mentality.
• Ability to learn new technology and work in a dynamic environment.
