Kowalis Auto Group in Orland Park, IL is seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance with efficiency and in line with dealership policies. You will diagnose automotive systems, test components, and communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional services and time estimates.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of technician experience, ASE certification, and broad knowledge of modern vehicle technology.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience is required.
• ASE Certification is required.
• A-level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Aufgaben

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency following dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience required
• ASE Certification required
• A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
