Job summary

Hiley Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and customer communications in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You will diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and transmission systems, test-drive vehicles, and provide accurate repair time estimates while working with a team to meet high standards of service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• A-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on the repair order with efficiency per dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services for customers.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
